On termine la semaine et mon tour d'horizon de l'univers musical gay avec les Army of lovers et leur titre phare : Crucified.
L'extravagance du groupe et son non respect des conventions ont rapidement attiré une foule de fan encore présente aujourd'hui. Et bien entendu leurs titres sont généralement tous très bon ce qui ne gâche rien.
Il y aurait encore beaucoup à voir et peut être que je poursuivrai ce tour d'horizon plus tard histoire d'enrichir votre culture musicale gay. Bon week-end à tous !

Aujourd'hui je vous présente les Dead or alive avec leur gros succès You spin me round.
Ce groupe est surtout caracterisé par son chanteur au look si particulier qui est devenu de plus en plus féminine au fil des années.
J'en veux pour preuve la version 2003 de ce titre où la blonde que l'on voit dans le clip n'est autre que le chanteur !!! Je vous met la version originale et 2003 des clips en lien pour que vous puissiez voir l'évolution ça vaut le coup d'oeil.

Triste nouvelle aujourd'hui, alors que la semaine dernière je me faisais une joie de voir Najoua Belyzel à la cigale après avoir acheté mes billets je reçois aujourd'hui un SMS qui m'annonce que les concerts parisiens sont tout simplement annulé...

Certes, je vais être remboursé de mes billets... Mais ce n'est pas ça qui me chagrine c'est surtout le fait que j'étais heureux d'aller à un concert en couple (c'était une première) et puis j'aime beaucoup Najoua en plus...
Je suis donc terriblement déçu par cette nouvelle... Je vais bouder dans mon coin tiens.

Cette semaine j'ai décidé d'enrichir votre culture musicale gay que j'ai déjà enrichi un peu avec Divine hier.
Aujourd'hui autre classique, Bronki Beat avec Why. Interprété par Jimmy Sommerville (dont la voix prouve qu'il doit être la femme dans le couple), j'ai eu la chance de voir ce titre interprété en live lors de la cérémonie d'ouverture des gay games à Sydney en 2002... Un vrai moment de bonheur.

Je connaissais la version remixée utilisée dans Queer as folk US (Saison 1 épisode 1) mais grâce à François (merci) j'ai découvert que ce titre a été interprété à l'origine par Divine dans les années 80.
Divine c'est le travesti le plus célèbre des États-Unis connu surtout pour sa participation aux films de John Waters dont le bon goût a toujours été plus que discutable...
